  • Are you still open if there is bad weather? We operate rain or shine and only in the most extreme of weather would our venue close. Notice of closure would be posted on our Facebook page and guests would be contacted by phone and email.
  • Do you have indoor seating availability? Panola Valley Gardens is an outdoor only venue. Most events are held under our sheltered pavilion.
  • Do your pavilion and dressing rooms have air conditioning or fans? We have one ceiling fan in the brides room. Otherwise, no. There tends to be a nice breeze that flows through the pavilion as it is atop a large hill.
  • How many bathrooms do you have? At this time, Panola Valley Gardens and Tea in the Garden only has one single stall bathroom. It is handicap accessible.
  • Is your venue handicap accessible? There is handicap parking available near our pavilion and the surrounding structures are handicap accessible. To view the lower courtyard and other gardens, disabled guests can be dropped off near the main entrance.
  • Can I bring my dog? Pets are not allowed at Panola Valley Gardens without prior written approval. Trained service dogs are always welcome in accordance with ADA guidelines, but Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) do not qualify as service animals. Service dogs must remain leashed at all times, and guests are responsible for cleaning up after them. Panola Valley Gardens reserves the right to ask any guest to leave if their dog is disruptive, unsafe, or poses a nuisance to others. Exceptions for pets may be granted with prior approval. Approved pet guests must have a signed Pet Guest Agreement on file and provide proof of current core vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, and Leptospirosis. Veterinary documentation must be submitted before your visit. Please contact us in advance if you'd like to request pet approval.
  • Can I bring food for a picnic in the garden? Outside food and drink is prohibited. For private picnics, please purchase tickets here.
  • Can I bring my own alcohol? Panola Valley Gardens does not have licensing to serve any alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the property.
  • Can I have a photoshoot in your garden? Photography sessions at Panola Valley Gardens are available from May through October for $60 per hour. Wedding photos taken on-site by visitors who are not hosting a ceremony at PVG are priced at $215 per hour. Guests must provide their own photographer for all sessions. From November through April, photoshoots are free of charge, though there are no flowers during this time. Advance booking and payment are required for all sessions.   • What payment methods do you accept? Cash, check, ACH transfer, or credit/debit card are accepted. 3% surcharge added for card transactions.
  • Do you recommend any local vendors? Yes! We have curated a list of trusted local vendors who can help make your event truly special. Our vendor list includes photographers, florists, DJs, event planners, and more. Many of these vendors offer exclusive discounts for Panola Valley Gardens couples.
